Honorary Love Bestowed Poem by Linda I. Weischedel

Honorary Love Bestowed

When you entered my life you picked my
misused-abused heart off the ground,
you began to show a respectable love for me
and turned my unhappy world around.

We had ourselves a rocky start,
trust me, there was no person going to shut down
this newly recharged heart,
and to believe it was the difference of
2 states that has kept us apart.

I retire with you each & every night,
thanking the Lord when I rise with
you each day,
if you should be right, or you should be wrong,
doesn't really matter 'cause I truly love you
inside and out,
you loving me for who I am,
that's what YOUR honorable love IS all about!
