Hope?
hope
is someone's excuse
for not accepting reality.
hope
is knowing it will never happen
but going to bed convinced tomorrow's the day.
hope
is another trick
we play on ourselves.
hope
is a myth passed down
that never got it's truth told.
hope
is the nice way we lie to each other
everyday.
