Hope Poem by Jodie Hardy

Hope

Rating: 5.0

Holding the hot rock of hope with one hand,
Refusing to let go despite the screaming of the raw skin,
How can I go on with only one hand,
Practically disabling myself.
My inability to move forwards is laughable,
How much blind hope can one carry around from one year to the next,
Denying the waterfall of tears and the trickles of blood ever fell.
And when will I grow the strength to put the rock down?
When will I realise no future can come forwards with me?
If not now the bridges have been burned then maybe never.
Hope can't be a bad thing can it?

Holding the hot rock of hope with one hand you have amazingly descried edges of hope in perspectives. An amazing poem is brilliantly penned.10
