Hope For Tomorrow Poem by Mohammed Abideen Oluwalonsola

Hope For Tomorrow

Rating: 3.5

By the range of time i stood;
and wept under the beneath of dark sun
while dream lies, and truth was unfolded.

Seconds and minutes in pool of tears,
thousands of hours in hard time.
While smiles is powerless over tears;
like the river it continue to flow.

'Today will decide tomorrow' they says;
while yesterday is bad, today is worst!
what shall call for tomorrow?
bad or good; no one knows
different thought met at a point,
hand drops; determination lost

Yet; rules are too many to abide with
thou; thee sin and seek for forgiveness,
forgive us, dear God;
for the two decades we left unlived

Perhaps; tomorrow, we may see thy kindness,
which would like to rain,
your faith, i will wore in our heart;
so; let us get unseen wing to fly...
