Moments of life filter through the sieve of death,
trickling down my heart and out my eyes.
There is a light of hope reaching out, letting me
feel the bygone love of yesterday.
Memories magically appear and disappear, I can not
hold them for long, even with a prayer.
All of life hangs in the balance and then returns to
the here and now, tears glistening in my soul.
Hugging and touching memories with my mind, grieving,
helping me to become whole and heal.
