Hope To Be Happy
Tomorrow maybe, maybe not.
I sure think of it a lot.
Better, better I hope.
Another day, nope.
But I keep dreaming,
Everyday seeming,
Tomorrow maybe, maybe not.
When it happens, to be sure,
I'll be happy, that's the lure.

Well, the best way is not to hope for anything and take your life the way it is... 'be what may'... great write :)
There is a great message in this poem Jim. I like the way you have spaced it out, as it works really well, also the rhyme adds to its effect. 'I'll be happy that's the lure, I will be dam happy that's the cure.' 10/10 Karin Anderson
