Hopelessly In Love Poem by David Harris

Hopelessly In Love

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes we fall that little further
and become hopelessly in love.
Cupid shoots his arrow a little deeper
than he really intended to
and you fall head over heels
hopelessly in love
and there is nothing you can do.
Everywhere everything is singing
from the birds to the leaves on the trees.
Your heart beats rapidly
every time you see them pass by.
You’re hopelessly in love
with that special dream,
always hoping above hope
that you will catch their eye.
Your head is amongst the clouds
day after day.
Then they stop and smile at you,
you smile back and whispery say
“I am hopelessly in love with you.”
