Hoped To Meet
When you go to some functions
and you hardly know anyone.
You find yourself ignored
as no one talks to you;
at least that is what happens
in many cases that I know.
However, the one I went to on Sunday
was the complete reverse.
By the end of the day,
I had made quite a few new friends
and we all hope to meet up
with one another again.
