Hopes Poem by Sharad Rajimwale

Hopes

Rating: 4.8

Hopes do not grow on trees
Hopes grow on you and me
like blossoms that need
nurturing- - - -

Bathe them in nectar
Give them respect
love and care- - -

Oh,
they will wither
and the aridity
shall rebound on you (and me)
surround and suffocate
your spirit.
