Hopes And Dreams - Poem by Charles Chaim Wax

$8,000
down the drain
guy said my site
would light up the world
alls that happened
burned a hole in my pocket.
In school I told my buddy
Peter F who exclaimed,
“Wha’d you think
with 2 billion accounts out there? ”
“Like the guy said:
I’d be the Brad Pitt
of the Poetry Internet.”

Don't we all have this dream Charles, perhaps we shouldn't listen to false promises. Nice read. Sincerely Ernestine (Report) Reply
