How Can’t I Think Of Her? Please Tell Me! Poem by Luo Zhihai

How Can’t I Think Of Her? Please Tell Me!

★ How can’t I think of her? Please tell me!

☆ Poetry by Liu Bannong (1891-1934, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

In the sky slight cloud floating
On the ground slight breeze blowing
Ah!
Slight breeze blowing my hair
How can’t I think of her? Please tell me!

Moonlight loves sea
Sea loves moonlight
Ah!
Like honey, silver night is so sweet
How can’t I think of her? Please tell me!

The fallen petals flowing slowly
Underwater fish swimming slowly
Ah!
Swallow. What do you speak?
How can’t I think of her? Please tell me!

Dead trees in the cold wind shaking
Prairie fire burning in the twilight
Ah!
There is residual pink clouds also in the western sky
How can’t I think of her? Please tell me!
