How do you kill someone who's already dead?
How do you clear a messed up head?
What am I racing for?
I don't care anymore
How do I smile?
And laugh
And talk
I know it's not real
Put me together with scotchtape and staples
Yet I fall apart
Dreaming, i'm dreaming
Floating above everything
Someone pull me down
Someone wake me up
Save me
Save me from this nightmare
Take me seriously for once in my life
Don't try to stop me when I reach for a knife
But again I ask
How do you kill someone who's already dead?
There really is no need
To commit suicide
Because, you know
I'm already dead inside
Just meat moving around
Meaningless words out of my mouth
I only say what you want to hear
Could you understand if I came clear?
So I take a gun
And put it to my head
And it's cold
And'I'm scared
But I can't run away
I pull the trigger
BANG
Am I dead?
Not just inside now
Death has never lost the race
Finally
I'm free

The pain
From you
From everything
