How I See You Poem by Rhonda Baker

How I See You

I’ve dreamt of you for all my days
Envisioned you in so many ways
I’ve watched you work in the yard
Shoveling snow, when the winds blow hard
Playing ball with the kids out in the sun
Listening to you laugh, watching the dogs run
I’ve seen you puzzle over the next card to play
Do you know how much I watch you every day?
Do you know you’re the man I dreamt of?
Do you know you’re the man, that I love?
