How Long - Poem by Mewlana Jalaluddin Rumi

How long will you think about this painful life?
How long will you think about this harmful world?
The only thing it can take from you is your body.
Don't say all this rubbish and stop thinking.

How long will you think about this painful life? - Till we meet with inner and outer peace
How long will you think about this harmful world? - Till we have desires and wish to live.
The only thing it can take from you is your body. - How about sucking the soul? ? ?
Don't say all this rubbish and stop thinking - Only a dead body can do that a body with soul will keep
.................................. thinking about everything around it.

Let not your heart be troubled. Good advice.

Well what if it doesn't take away my body, but everything else? My peace of mind, my love, my faith in good things, hope, everything? ? And leave me just with the body? ? What will happen then? (Report) Reply
