How Much Do You Trust? Poem by Andrew J. Koehn

How Much Do You Trust?

Rating: 3.0

Take no thought for your life,
What’s to eat or drink or wear.
Life is more than food or raiment.
That’s what God says. Do you trust him?

Look at flowers and watch birds.
Don’t they grow? Aren’t they fed and clothed?
All this without striving for gain.
Do you copy their trusting faith?

“Cast all your care upon Me
All worries and burdens and fears,
I care enough to fill your needs.”
God has spoken, do you hear?

“Cursed be the man that trusts in man”
God spoke that. Do you trust in You?
Does God fill out your schedule,
And cosign your decisions?

It’s just this plain and simple;
God made us. He knows us. He loves us.
He sees ahead and knows what’s best.
Do we trust Him enough?

Your words spoke to me...Its as if thats all i just needed to hear this morning...Thanks for sharing... I have a couple of poems that speaks of God's greatness. Amongst which is: He endured it all for me...You might want to see it perhaps leave a comment on it or other once..Appreciate the gesture.
