How My Life Is Now Poem by lisa hart

How My Life Is Now

Rating: 5.0

It took the innocence of childhood
for me to wish to be an actress
a social worker
a doctor or author

It took two weeks of work experience for those dreams to shift
to becoming a psychiatrist or teacher

It took two months of 6th form college
to change my dreams again.

Around my 17th birthday,
i finalised my plans to become the fourth powerpuff girl.
