How To Be A Queen Poem by Ciara Mitchell

How To Be A Queen

Rating: 5.0

My favorite Disney character is Elsa from Frozen
She is a queen meaning that’s she evil, cruel, vile and mean
Which was something I would despise
And like everyone else I kept waiting for her untimely demise.
But as the seasons started to progress I started hating her less and less
Because I often felt too much like her in that never having any happiness of your own
Because of how we look

Its seems in our society that when a woman is dubbed
Something other than a damsel in distress
She is considered worthless and a disgrace to her own sex
And when a young girl does something out of her status quo
She considered a weirdo and when she reaches out a hand
She’s left in the cold and when she approaches a guy she either a hoe
Or worthless because she doesn’t twerk.

But I guess being queen was always considered second best
You have to remember that you are not worthless
You have to walk with your crown up high
And not these narcissistic people steal you pride,

But being a queen is much more than this
You have to be responsible never rule with an iron fist
Never show where your weakness lies because
Your subjects will destroy your in right before your eyes
And be kind and caring but don’t let I drag inside
You never know when you might to bring a spell
Or sword to enemy lines.

But with all these rules set into place
Why do most girl not take the bait
When do some girls rely on acting dumb and
Current catchphrases to save their life.
Why does the media say we need a bigger but
Than a bigger brain to make a guys anaconda rise.

You are strong you are brave and have what it takes
Don’t let anyone tell you that being a leader is a mistake
And when you get to that point let yourself rule
Don’t follow the crowd and become a tool.
But when you finish your world will be clear and seen
Because that my sisters is how to be a queen.
