a call came thru today
from a woman
I hardly know who said
her girlfriends husband
hung himself
he had five children
and a wife
did it over financial strife
I gasped
then, wondered how,
someone I didn't know
had made me feel
a mourning
''why make a drama
out of a crisis'', I thought
then it hit me
like, ''a ton of bricks''-
what I was feeling
was the ''link''
that connects us together
as human beings.
