Humans And Nature Poem by Marilyn Shepperson

Humans And Nature

Rating: 5.0

How powerful we humans are
Look at all our achievements
Since we first learnt to walk upright
And it is said that if a man
Moves just one rock
He can change the future
Still we through the taking of their enviroment
And the culling of animals, drive them to extinction
It seems too that we are trying to annihilate each other
With unnecessary wars, which breed famine and disease
Yet all the time, through fire and flood
Wind, earthquakes and drought
Nature seeks to cull us.
