Humans (One At A Time) Poem by Christopher's Dead

Humans (One At A Time)

Where one fight isn’t enough
It leads to decades of hell
We cross contentious lines
Laid down by somebody else
They breed the hate to condemn
Behind governmental walls
If we have the power to change
Let’s take it back once and for all

[Chorus]
(Their taking humans)
Aim for the sky
(Their taking humans)
Before we die
(Their taking humans)
Persecute with wealth
(Their taking humans)
No one cares for anyone, but himself

It always sticks like a leech
Onto your soul of consent
The way it makes our eyes bleed
To see their advertisements
Promoting sex and salvation
Through death restoration
Guess this is their idea
Of a capitalist nation

[Chorus]

Children masturbating at this sight for sore eyes
Turning models into standard ships for girls and boys alike
Ride the sea of blood society lives in from suicide
No one can match what they show us, some people would rather die

Greed reaching demographics never meant for all their fakes
Mendacity leads into believing this truth for hell’s sake
Taking away childhoods for their federal fascist gains
The individual is trapped behind societal restraints

Force-fed ways to defy
The sanctity of a marriage
And demean the meaning of love
Say it’s a greeting card instead
Withhold the will to break free
Of this destructive incentive
That we might think alone
Rather than what they tell us

[Chorus]

Amazingly captivating, I´d love to know what you felt when you were writing this, though I can make a pretty close guess. All I can really say is that you should totally make an album ´cause this would make it an extreme #1 HIT!

The opening felt weak however as the song/poem progressed the energy and imagery became more powerful as it went along. Although the message is direct I guess that doesn't mean the presentation does ;) Force-fed ways to defy The sanctity of a marriage And demean the meaning of love That line right there^ Masterpiece.
