Where are the angels born in us? How can we bring them to light? ... These questions form the real essence of this stirring piece, so thought-provoking...a looking glass for the creatures apparently clad in human dress...it reminded me Blake's poem The Divine Image..your poem Elena is deep and wonderful..bcoz of its cruel but realistic metaphors.

an excellent piece of poetry, it seems most individual are now more in-touch and in-tune with their inner demons that the angel within has been locked out

Preservation of diversity of life is indeed necessary and your poem coveys the message nicely. The opening line of your poem viz 'What? Are we the humans, angels? ' is more interesting and i wish you had developed the thought further.

It is our duty as humans to protect wild life and let them roam freely in their natural habitat instead of caging them and destroying them! ! A great message, Elena! !
