Humiliating You Poem by Randy McClave

Humiliating You

Can't you hear the people laughing
Can't you see them mock,
Whenever you are passing
At you they are always taking stock.
They see how you were treated
They hear how you were confused,
You told them all how you were defeated
And how you were always bruised.
You get hurt and you always go back
You are treated like a slave,
Common sense you most definitely lack
Unto the wishes of others you just cave.
You always and continuously get yelled at
And never was you ever put first,
You was always knocked down to the mat
And you were always treated the worst.
Unto you I will give you no pity
Or any comforting words,
I will not say that you are caring or pretty
Those seeds you can feed to the birds.
You say that you are in love
And that your partner is in love as well,
But, you're the only one that's smacked with a glove
And always treated like hell.
You say, that you always felt neglect
Because of the things that you did do,
Yourself you will always and forever disrespect;
When you rekindled a relationship that humiliates you.
