Hunger, Human Hunger, The Hunger Of The Belly Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Hunger, Human Hunger, The Hunger Of The Belly

Rating: 4.5

Hunger,
Human hunger,
The hunger of the belly
Still doing the rounds,
The rounds
And people starving,
Starving,
]burning,
Burning with hunger
Going without food,
Food and water,
How can it be,
How can it?

They will starve,
Starve,
Will remain,
Remain unfed,
Unfed and half-fed
Passing the nights,
Days and nights
Without burning,
Burnish the hearths,
How can it be,
How can it?

Seriously how can it be. Then you see something splurging money wearing a church gown they tell they talk to God.

Hunger voluntary or involuntary is real pain. It is not funny at all. May the hungry get fed. Starvation is the order of the day in some parts of the world. It's terrible.
