Hurricane Love Poem by Paul Sebastian

Hurricane Love

You came like a hurricane
Swiftly swept me off
To stay in lovers' green plains
In pastures of pure love

In love's garden souls entwined
Confessed love, made promises
Built future dreams, well defined
Galloping easily, two white horses

Stark life's reality faced us
Stalling us at lonely crossroads
Where do we go, asked ourselves
Together or take different routes?

Painful journey in either direction
Is it for real or is it just an illusion?
By circumstances or on own volition
Fated to go in different destinations
