The winds rise before anyone notices,
a quiet shift in the air, heavy with warning.
Clouds gather like unspoken thoughts,
stacked high, pressing against the sky.
I do not arrive with a whisper,
I crash into the shore, uninvited,
pulling at the earth, bending steel,
tearing loose what was never meant to stay.
They call me by my name,
but they do not know me.
I am destruction and renewal,
a force that does not ask permission.
The sea moves with me,
the sky darkens in my wake.
Some run, some stand and watch,
thinking they understand-
but no one truly does.
And when I am gone,
the world is not the same.
I leave silence where there was noise,
space where there was weight,
and in the wreckage, something new begins.
