Down, Down, Down
Where I am, Where I will be
Who I am, and Who I Will be
I am lower than the tides that flow me farther into the
nepenthe
I am the dirt within the ground that hasn't seen
the light in centuries
I am the last tier in the tower that has fallen to
it's ankles
I am living for the moment but it's frozen, I am
lending seconds to you I don't own because they're
stolen
How many feet will I have to fall
before
the
sun
will
let
ME
rise.
I am....
wow you are such a talented writer and your poem is amazing and you are amazing keep on writing and i will keep on reading :) , love, Tin Mouse
nature always changes and nothing is permanent. some time up some time down. a beautiful poem.
There is always hope. I like the positive statement of the last two words - powerful stuff. Thanks for the comment on my silly little piece 'Word Association Exercise' - It's not meant to be taken seriously. It's very much 'tongue in cheek'. As Valerie says - the sun is always shining - even when we cannot see it, it IS shining.
No matter how far down one might be, the sun is always up there shining, one just has to look up to see it. A beautiful poem expressing how we all feel from time to time.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
yes, you are, and your words elevate you into the lighte of the sun.
