I Am Adamant Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I am adamant
People address me as such at present
It is their way of thinking
The flaws in me are not striking me adversely

So I take it differently
And always almighty
To defend me from such adverse comments
I know I am stand fast against bad movements

People go for easy gain
Cheat the people and still maintain
Their approach as an extra ordinary
Even though it lands people to fall in for treachery

I don't appreciate such approach
I have my own belief and ordinary way to preach
If I am not following certain things
I shall not attempt to ring it in others ears

One thing is certain
How long shall you maintain?
Such double standard for others!
Doesn't it land you in angers any time?
