I Am Here Poem by Judy Jones

I Am Here

Yes, I am here
Or at least partly
I'm not sure where you'll find the rest of me
Running,
Searching,
Hiding,
Spinning
Who knows
Maybe just gone
Disappeared
Lost for good
It's just me here
Empty
I'm not sad
Not even angry
Just here
Trying to stabilize what is left of me
I've seemed to have lost that balance
Being hollow and all
I'm not going to scream
I'm not going to cry
Just laugh
Just forget it, it'll pass
Balance
There is still goodness
There is still beauty
Here
Somewhere
I know that's where I'll find the rest of me
Somewhere
I need to at least believe in that
