I Am In Pain Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I am in pain
Tuesday,23rd April 2019

It was an endless wait
as if the fate was sealed
she was not seen
the last 24 hours were the scene of an anxiety

With great struggle
I could find her and able to
put a few words
but her words could not be heard

"I am in pain"
then she remained calm
what could be her illness?
some worry lines appeared on the face

The prayers are the only means
to win a sure cure
for her health
and express full faith

very gentle and thoroughly
honest and frank enough
she had lately entered
but my whole attention was centered

humans bonds are rare to be explained
and maintained with its sacredness
it is how one interprets and tackles
it proves"life is not simply a struggle"
