I Am My Father's Son, Guaranteed A Heart That Leaves Me Nothing! ! ! ! ! ! ! - Poem by Mikel Calcagno

Bless me father for i have killed
Far too many men
I've been screaming for fucking hours
And staring at this gun for days
He said, 'I know what you're thinking and you should be ashamed'
Where has my youth gone?
Deprived of the only thing I've known
'Hold on! ' you cried in the midst of the night

Where did all the violence go?
Your sickness weighs a tonne
Where did all the bodies go?
A shot of air to the blood

It's my life
That you hate
I've seen it all
I won't take this to the grave
Searched hard for you and your special ways to
Watch as you slowly slip away
I knew the feeling wouldn't end
When a shattered heart is hard to mend
An irrational formation around my super natural heart
Who let you inside these walls of my conscience?
A cage of veins and bone, awash by my own self loathing
Super imposed hatred upon my delicate soul

Screaming out at this gun for days

Where did all the violence go?
Your sickness weighs a tonne
Where did all the violence go?
A shot of air to the blood

It's my life
That you dictate

I've seen it all
I will take this to the grave

Searched hard for you and your special ways to
Watch as you slowly slip away
I knew that the feeling wouldn't end
When a shattered heart is hard to mend

Sensory error reconciles my mechanic apathy
I am coded into a void
