I Am Not A Star Poem by Lawrence Hiung

I Am Not A Star

I'm not a star, I'm just me.
I'm not a hero, But I could be.
I won't set the world on fire,
But I could be your heart's desire.
I'm not the world's greatest anything,
I'm just me.

I'm not a star, I'm just me.
I'm not a champion, but I could be.
Just put me on the right course,
Or give me the right horse,
I'll turn in a hundred percent,
‘Cause I'm me.

I'm not a star, I'm just me.
I'm not king, I'm just me.
I may not have riches,
But I'm not digging ditches,
And I'll die with a smile,
‘Cause I'm ME.

THIS POEM IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN ITS MEANING-POSITIVE THINKING -'m not a star, I'm just me. I'm not a hero, But I could be.

This poem is composed by Micheal M Kelly Sr. who is poet and I love his poetry very much. It has good rhythm and rhyme too.
