I Am The Gentle Winter Snow Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

I Am The Gentle Winter Snow

I am the hush before dawn,
drifting in silence upon the earth,
a soft whisper on the wind's breath,
settling where footsteps once lingered.

I weave a quiet veil over the trees,
bending branches beneath my touch,
turning rooftops into ivory seas,
where time slows, where stillness sings.

I arrive without warning,
a traveler from distant skies,
dancing in the glow of streetlights,
melting where warmth still remains.

I am the gentle winter snow,
a fleeting moment, a tender hush,
vanishing with the rise of the sun,
but never forgotten.
