I Can't Help It Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

I Can't Help It

Rating: 4.0

I played with matches and burned my fingers
I swore never to play with flammable tinders
I climbed a tree to peep on my neighbour, fell, fractured my ankle
Vowed to never climb trees no matter how shallow the angle
The seatbelt in my car i never took seriously, got injured seriously
Now the first thing i put on is the persky belt curiously

There are lots of things i swore i would never do
Throughout my life this has been true
I have stuck to my phobias
I don't even crave for beers
Till i met you
This is true
I swore i would never fall in love
But we are now hand in glove

I can't help it

Loved the last line. (Forgive me, there is a typo persky should be pesky)

" ...I swore i would never fall in love But we are now hand in glove..." Beautiful... dramatic ending... Thanks...
