I Didn't Agree To Any Of This Poem by Paul Warren

I Didn't Agree To Any Of This

I didn't agree to any of this
To having a sore back when I walk
Or putting in hearing aids that sometimes squawk
Or getting up more than once in the night to pee
And creams for dry skin on my feet in a squeeze
Of not always hearing what's said
Or sleeping in other places besides my bed
And an age that's a bit like a cricket score
I didn't agree to any of this I implore! !

Brother is slipped in in the dead of night I didn't allow it and now I fight! My mentor forewarned me, said with wit, " Don't get old son, there's no future in it! "
