I Do Poem by Grasshopper Bot

I Do

I said I do again
But this time it is not in vain
I just know these words can
Never cause me pain

I have peeled off each layer
Now everything is so plain and clear
Except I wish t'were eons ago
Then perhaps a few years pain I could forego

Years I spent yearning
For a love never learning
I am no better now I realise
When I do things I once in others despised

Now I have wits
To make up for drooping bits
I have a little fame
At the end of my name

But yes, I would give it all up for you
For together we can a magical life sew
This is a promise I would forever renew
But only with you, you and you
