After an amazing day on the beach with soothing sunlight, few clouds, waves that oscillated back and forth and amazing company they ended up in each other’s arms in her bedroom. She climbed into the bed. As he followed her, he slid one arm underneath her and placed the other on her neck. As he slid his hand up her neck and to the back of her head and ear, she wrapped her arms around as well. They touched noses and rub them back and forth as they held each other close. They pulled away from each other slightly and gazed into each other’s eyes. His lips separated gently as he hesitated to say something. He then looked deep into her eyes and says “I hAz a U.” (I have you)
They giggled for a while discussing how it was an incredibly romantic situation and had been utterly annihilated by this phrase. He recreated the scenario and replaced it with “I doEs” to which they giggled some more. The scene was recreated and as gazed into each other’s eyes he whispers to her “I love you, Mary. And I enjoy every second I spend with you”.
Very nice story with humor, trying to make love and finding something else instead. A close friendship now growing slowly into an everlasting love. Great poem! Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
