I Don't Try To Figure Out

I don't try to figure out the will of God for me
And lean not on mine own understanding but trust Him explicitly
For He knows better than I do the steps along the way
Mine to follow in obedience with a determination to pray
I don't want to miss out on blessiings because of stubborness
But to live a yielded life ready for God to bless

I've been observant of friendships of others close to me
And watched the love displayed by them poured out so lavishly
Yet far and above that love Lord Jesus has bestowed
A love that forgives the deepest sin and washes white as snow
Wonderful now to live with a reliance in such a Friend
Let praises for that Saviour live and never ever end

Each day has its own scenarios there are hills and valley days
Mine to obtain an equilibrium and a constant tongue of praise
So I rest in my Saviour He is my all and all
And in spiritual preparedness trusting Christ for whatever may befall
Praise God for the life of faith that's what living is all about
The other stuff that comes along I don't try to figure out!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
