I Dream A Day When Pure Hearts Bloom Poem by Terence Craddock

I Dream A Day When Pure Hearts Bloom

I dream a day when a pure spirit
will dwell in the hearts of many
I dream a day when purity love
will bloom like summer flowers
on a warm nurturing day
with a cool breeze blowing
I dream a day when aphids of hate
bugs of war will not eat wild roses

peace flowers there is a saying be born
again we do not have to wait until
advanced old age to shed a hateful heart
we do not have to live die be born again
to live a better life we can choose now
to reset the mind the heart to live in peace

do wrong to none now from this day forward
we can arise fresh each day to do battle with
our own sharp tongue any residue rising anger
even to live in moments of bliss is better than
to carry the weight of sadness bitterness
hate is a disease inflicting sickness tears
old age tears sorrow waiting upon revenge
seeking hearts we can choose to struggle against

hate to arise in peace
hope that we may live
moments of perfected
peace love in practise
for an eternity in
paradise thoughts...
