I Feel Guilty Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I feel guilty when enter the holy place
For asking favor with fake face
Bring pity on face and fold the hands
Close the eyes and wish with prayers

Nothing bad has taken place so far
Only some draw backs have taken place temporarily
I could face it in any case bravely
But there was hidden fear that bothered me intensely

"Go to Him with prayers" many friends used to advise
The result may come in your favor and sometimes surprise
Even though I am firm believer and worked for good deeds
The success was the only thing of an hour and required indeed

From deep feelings, it made me foolish
Why I needed to go for such thing and wish?
I could try honestly and then leave it to his mercy
He is aware of all that but did not labor hard as duty

It is always good to approach him and seek blessings
Sometimes you are guilty and feel punch with teasing
Yet that provides you some form of solace
As you expect respite from divine store in such cases

Person feels secure after having made an appeal
At least on that score it seems from all the angles very real
When we are thrust upon this world as special entity
We need all types of grace and helping hand from almighty

It is felt and realized that nothing comes on as success
If we are totally blind and care for no blessings or an access
His wish is supreme and helps till the end of the journey
We ask nothing more from his divinity

Think about your self as luckiest most if life is spent smoothly
We might not have been provided enough to last happily
That is biggest achievement if you feel internally as contentment
Life as such is illusion and hence there is no room for discontentment
