I govern my heart with good intentions…
But still, a disease caught me off guard.
A devastating illness took over all my good human nature.
It comes from a broken trust...
And someone who can't timely play the drums
And someone who can't sing but only shout
And pulls down the shades and draws a knife or gun...
I govern my heart with good intentions...
But look at all the bad, senseless things I've done.
I made great efforts not to be sorrowful and full of despair.
But there's always someone,
Someone to burst your bubble for fun
And sets you on a road of minus hope and destitution.
Just because they can.
Just because they want to unravel your aura
Dishevel your sunlight and turn you into a winter fungus.
And feed on all your bad rotten luck like curds and whey?
Holding to your amiable demeanour like never before
It's a blessing in disguise when you're ground down.
Completely ground down like never before
Wondering what if any good intentions are for…
