I Heard The Breakers Roar Poem by Gert Strydom

I Heard The Breakers Roar

On Africa's most southern shore
I heard the breakers roar
saw a wave breaking right over you
while I swam with you who I adore

and life was not as it was before
while you were not in your bikini-top anymore
and big-eyed a boy watched you and blushed
away did his eyes from you tore
