I Imagine And I Shiver Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Imagine And I Shiver

Mignonne, you are at the center of my imagination,
The woman in the heart of my sensations.
I imagine and I tremble like a bulrush in springtime.

You are the singing swallow that awakens me at sunrise.
You are the plant that I sprinkle to harvest exquisite roses,
Control, beautify, and soothe the bad and gloomy weather.

I imagine sensual phrases and scenes of love,
When I see you strolling by the garden, around
The laurels. Darling, you are the most stunning season.

And I tremble afterward. You give me a thousand reasons
To love you, envy you, and adulate you until the end of time.
You are my all: winter, autumn, summer, and glorious spring.
