I Just Feel Like Bursting Out Laughing Poem by Francis Duggan

I Just Feel Like Bursting Out Laughing

I just feel like bursting out laughing the sun shine is in the blue sky
And crimson rosella is chirping on a golden wattle nearby
And spring to the south is approaching on warm wings above the sea
And magpies their stick nest are building on a high branch of a tall gray gum tree.

I find Nature so fascinating though Nature seems complex to me
The male blackbirds patrol their borders their borders that i cannot see
And camellias are losing their petals they will lose their beauty to Spring
And the beautiful song of the shrike thrush to it has a familiar ring.

I find Nature so fascinating yet little about her i know
Though i have lived through many seasons and seen the seasons come and go
The kookaburra laughs in the woodland his seed is destined to live on
And his descendants will still be heard laughing though from here i will have long gone.

I just feel like bursting out laughing it is such a beautiful day
And butcherbird pipes on the wattle and spring is not that far away
And the beautiful crimson rosella is chirping on the wattle tree
And i feel a real lucky fellow for beauty is all around me.
