I know skies will slowly brighten
I know rains will disappear
I know aching hearts will lighten
I know strength can melt all fear

I know angels soothe the darkness
I know harps will calm the soul
I know time can heal all sadness
I know life won't take its toll

I know friends are to be treasured
Always will I know their love
I know pain is meant for reaching
Way beyond the stars above

I know springtime now is over
I know summer is my friend
I know I have walked through darkness
I know now it's time to mend

I know sun pours through the shutters
Rainbows paint the future bright
I know life is getting better
I know hope is now in sight
