I Like To Grab A Memory
I like to grab a memory
And put my arms around it
Hold it fast to my heart
A thought of days gone bye
No one knows on the outside
What I'm feeling inside
Sometimes the tears flow freely
I take it all in stride
So many years that were wasted
I guard with deep regret
The I wish I coulda shoulda's
My repititious song
An acreage of heartaches
Planted in my soul's garden
Once in awhile one crops up
To aid my memory along
But praise God for His grace
His Spirit my sure Comfort
For when I'm feeling down
His Spirit picks me up
He's the God of second chances
Forgiveness is the flower
Watered by Lord Jesus
Straight from the Master's cup!
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
