I Love People Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Love People

Rating: 5.0

How many people have induced?
How many have really inspired?
I fail to count by number
They are my honorable members

Some have made inroad
Some have shared load
Tolerated my anger willingly
Even reciprocated in no other tone smilingly

I use reverse swing
Use same melody to sing
But add my own color and tune
Represent in different form as best one

What for we are all here?
Are we to earn name or fear?
No, that had not been the intention?
Human bond was only consideration

I have written on many personalities
Painted their mood and good qualities
In them I saw very good kind behavior
To know them closely was rare honor

What Africa, America, or my native land?
They all had noble soul and acted as friend
What did they expect from my article?
I knew it was not unique or special

I love people when they feel at home
By simple conversation and welcome
I flow with their thought train
I forget my own agony and pain

stiltskin I love your writing, truly. It is uplifting and yet attainable, inspiring and yet humble, wise and yet simple....like any real truth it is not biased or opinionated, it just is.... :)
