its been awhile since i heard ur voice as pretty as it sounds
im glad to see your beautiful face as beautiful as it is
the way you make me laugh is none like others
the taste of your lips is what i miss
i put my hand through your hair as you insist
i will hold you in my arms forever
im always happy when we are together
your love keeps me warm when im cold
i can see us getting old

sitting with you on the stairs of my door step
looking upon the sunrise i cant picture anything better than this
your head on my shoulder you give me a slight kiss
time is standing still i dont want this to end
you grab my hand and tell me not let go

playing a melody for you with my guitar
trying to tell you that i love you through
the strum of a string, i sing you a song
that came strait from the heart
hopeing that the day will never come when we are apart

talking to you pretty lady on the phone
the sound of ur voice makes me feel at home
your cute laugh from the jokes i have said
i whisper goodnight as we lay in bed
your hand over my chest, telling me i love you right before
we rest

I woke you up because you heard me snore
spending time with you is never a bore
you tease me for this, but you tell me you couldnt resist

looking in your eyes
i tell you that i want to be near
to sooth every tear
to keep you safe from every fear

i hold you in my arms ever so tightly
looking at the moon that shines ever so brightly
she looks at my face and says i look sad and ever so blue
but i tell her i never been so glad
she then tells me i love you...
