I Loved I Lost I Lived Poem by Callista CharlemagneDaniel

I Loved I Lost I Lived

Rating: 5.0

through green filled grasses and shimmer like sunsets
where lovers escape the fulfillments of their realities
with rose bushes and dandilions mingling a dance for the ages
was the peotry I consumed
with butterflies nesting my nerves
intentionally notting themselves binding my heart like chains on a slave.
next to her I layed like the victor to her conquest
stroking her randomly
as if to tam her raging sea
formulating words to shakessperes tune
and singing sweet words to my lovers rock
raining emotions of love lust, hate, jealousy
there I loved I lost I lived
magic abounds as the pen strokes the paper
radiant light beams to an angels halo
paving the way for cupids Strike
for romance was his gateway
and this scene his playground
I poured out my heart in anguish
bleeding this desirous world wind
to this poetry I consumed
where balance and confusion formed the perfect marriage
agreeing to disagree that thoughts were opinions
and facts were a lie
There I lost, I loved, I lived
Though she warned of her end I stayed
Like a loyal soldier to her throne
Her kingdom fantasied with elegant masterpieces
Delicately and uniquely designed
Binding my soul to her eternal vows
Next to her I stayed like a victor to her conquest
A priceless antic, highly valued rarely understood
There I loved, I lost, I lived
