I'M Everywhere Poem by Linda Barnes

I'M Everywhere

There will be times
As you live your life
You will sense
The presence of mine

As you look to the sky
And see a butterfly
It will be me
Continuously floating by

A whisper you hear
And fragrance you smell
Is just a reminder
That I'm still here

The brush on your cheek
Or wind blowing your hair
Sounds of birds
Familiar music you hear

A glance from a stranger
To sounds of laughter
Or, a road we traveled
Will be just a reminder

I lived my life well
So you can live yours
But, please share
My life with others

A glorious time
I had on this Earth
Sharing my hopes
And love of others

Those moments you sense
Or feel that I'm near
It's not your imagination
I'm everywhere
