I'M Happy Poem by Justin Zahn

I'm happy...
I usually can't say that
without lying to myself.
It's almost a strange sensation;
happiness.
Sometimes it's there,
and other times it's not.
Its like a flickering switch
that keeps turning on and off.
Its quite frustrating really,
never knowing what to expect.
But right now I'm happy;
happy at best.
It feels good...
to say the least.
Even the empty hearted
would have to agree.
Let's hope it stays;
if only for a second.
Before the switch turns off,
and the happiness has vanished.
